This is a moving poster designed to promote the lantern release event during Yee Peng Festival in Thailand. The moods communicated through the poster are serene and enchanting.
Process
In the left sketch, I explored different iconic moments of the lantern release that best evoke a sense of serenity and enchantment through movements.
In the right sketch, I explored the typographic layout, and the flickering effect that resembles that of the lanterns. A few iterations were done to explore the appearing and disappearing sequence of each letter.
